Don't buy pets - just take care of the native ones that live in our yards and maybe take in a neglected one that somebody dumped at the park instead. If you love Arizona, then you will love the plants and animals that live here. To come into town and try a better place by making it look like something it's not is the exact opposite of loving something. It's like telling your wife you will only love her if she has a penis... and if ...it's creating a lot of dust, community members are being threatened with liens, all the Wildlife is dying, the crime rate is increasing, and the heat is increasing.... Why the hell is it such a hard thing to understand that leaving the plants alone could save money, decrease dust, decrease sickness, create a more enriching community, and could help curb the massive amount of habitat loss we got going on.... then why wouldn't we do it? I'm not just complaining. I have a solution. The solution doesn't even cost money. The solution is to simply do less.... but here we are. A large majority of the dust you find in Arizona is human caused. Land clearing, mining, agriculture, industrial, and residential development. Yes, we need development for growth.., but we need dust mitigation when development happens and we need to stop scraping all the vacant lots down to bare ...dirt. We need to develop a way that doesn't make Community member sick. This is not normal. We're told to believe it's normal... but in reality it's poor land management. Allowing construction to continue without any dust mitigation along with code enforcement threatening large fines and liens if vegetation is not scraped is what is causing this. These ...dust particles pertain old farm chemicals and mold spores that are known to make people very sick. They also cause sinus infections, lung irritation, and can even lead to cardiovascular disease. You would think if council cared about the community they would force better dust mitigation versus making the problem worse by forcing people to do more land clearing. #toxicdust #airpollution #dustbowl #valleyfever
