The update is, you can have a big hole in your wall and still not have any rodents. I did play around with the sensitivity on my camera. I didn’t realize I had it so low from one of my last jobs. Either way, rodent control is expensive. Most people are just using poison, which could hurt your ...pets or a lot of non-Target species, and or you’ll have things dying in your walls that’ll stink for weeks and nobody wants that. So stay tuned. We hang out with this camera over the next few days and see if anything changes. Thanks #poisonfreepestcontrol #rats #rodentbirthcontrol #wildlifeconservation #dıy

I have a rodent living in my garage… because I regularly leave my door open, I have fruit trees, water, shelter, and birdseed lying around… so it was only a matter of time before I was going to get a rodent. However, what I do next depends on what species of rodent I have. A round tail ground ...squirrel may have gotten stuck and he was just chewing as a form of survival to try to get out, and if that happens, I would just open the door and let him be on his way. A pack rat or a wood rat would be more problematic. They do like to take up quiet garage areas and chew wires. They also have a lot of babies…. But really easy to snap or trap if there’s an issue. A roof rat on the other hand…. That’s an issue. They are very smart. Don’t trap easy and love to take over attics, garages, and are one of the worst to get rid of. Either way… no poison will be used and hopefully in a day or two everyone can start learning how to trap and/or kill rodents around their home instead of paying someone to douse poison around your house. Learn a little more about the wonderful world of pigeons. Imagines if humans cared about each other as much as these guys took care of each other. A first year bird, only a few months old, fostering, protecting, and feeding these two like they were her own and she’s got experience. People could ...actually learn from them. Ok, thanks! Please feel free to check out our wishlist in our bio if you would like to help supply food for these guys. Thanks! #Pigeon #fosterparents #wildliferescue #volunteer

Solar panels without wildlife guards essentially are insulated dovecots. (Consider yourself royalty. Kidding…. But not kidding.) wildlife guards just keep leaves, birds, squirrels, or anything else out from underneath your panels where they don’t need to be. It creates a lot of protection for ...species that are known to be problematic and for companies to install without the simple guard shows that they don’t care about the customer and their greenwashing doesn’t care about the environment either. Solar Panels are a great addition to any household, but please make sure that they are caged and if you’re getting a company out there to gauge them try to find somebody that’s humane otherwise these companies are known to just power wash them out from under the middle of those panels and it’s very sad whenever Community members call us with those types of situations. We’re not saying that you should house 1 million birds, but we are saying that proper exclusions done and install are the most ideal. Cleaning nests out before caging is best done in winter when there’s less likelihood of any babies underneath the panels. Also their poop is great fertilizer…. Use it on your plants instead of purchasing it from chemical suppliers. #wildlifeconservation #pigeoncontrol #dovecot #pestcontrol

Don’t hate the pigeon. Hate the habitat. Pigeons have a voice. They are telling people they are in an area void of biodiversity and hevy poison use. They are in an area filled with pavement and over landscaped trees. They are not the enemy. Just your neighbor…. The enemy really is in how we ...keep developing our communities. Massive land grading, HOA’s that make native landscapes illegal while everyone pays $50 a month for their house to get dowsed in insecticides. There is no amount of caging, trapping, and poisoning that can take away invasive species in an urban environment. The solution lies in establishing as much natural habitat as we can to bring back biodiversity and that is the opposite of poison boxes and caging. Ok thanks for listening. Be nice to pigeons they are literally trying to save us from the plague. #wildlifeconservation #plantmorehabitat #babypigeons #pestcontrol
