Does your city's "clean-up " program actually work? Well, most communities are focusing on planting trees and trying to decrease temperatures. I live in a community that's running out of water, planning a data center, building plastic trash burner, and doesn't even ...understand how damaging these type of land clearings are for the environment. This is a community that used to care about each other but now only cares about money. This type of environment doesn't appeal to a community it only appeals to developers. The communities scrape all its plants and wildlife are known to have higher crime rates as well as higher temperatures because of heat island effect. I hope this inspires more people to speak up for the native plants and the native animals. It'll benefit us more than land clearing and more threatening letters in the mail forcing this area to look like a prison parking lot. #wildlifeconservation #urbansprawl #speciesdecline #citydevelopment

There's something about plants that makes things relaxing... which is why I get so upset my neighborhood is destroying them. With little effort we can layer plants and clean out dead.... but I really hope the blanket clearing stops. Hi, I haven't posted it in a while. I'm not sure why since this platform always seemed the most supportive. Anyway, I'm wondering if any of my old Tiktok buddies are still here. So many things have happened.... I think I got mad because all my videos kept getting viral and TikTok ...never ever ever compensated me. Think one video had 12 million views and I got zero dollars. Anyway, it's amazing how fast time can go by. Anyhow, I'm still doing a lot to protect the owls. Here's some Game camera footage. We deal with so much death that we just start incorporating it in our landscape. Honestly snags are very beneficial, and I honestly think this tree is beautiful even though it's dead and it can be incorporated into the landscape and they could simply remove the metal posts in the wire and ...plant things around it. However, we also want to try to keep trees alive, and if this one was, properly maintained (which really just means water her to get her established and leave her alone) she would have been still alive. So.... since even the landscapers around here, don't know how to treat plants - We're going to start doing more classes and pushing more educational material on how to work with native plants and how to start planting landscapes that will actually benefit us instead of just creating more work. So, lesson number one is - if you have any binds on your tree, please do yourself a favor and cut them off and then fire your Landscaper that recommended them to you.
