Help! The person on this film stole our Wildlife camera that was monitoring the Burrowing Owl family in Casa Grande.

If anybody knows who this is or why they would want to steal a camera that is protecting burrowing owls can you please let us know.

These cameras are funded out ...of my own pocket to protect the Burrowing Owls. It's very discouraging to think that somebody will just take them and stop that conservation effort without contacting anyone.

It's pretty sad that we have people in the community that I'll do such a thing. I hope we find whoever this person is and they have some reasonable explication.

Casa Grande Commodities found a whole owl family during a hay move, and instead of pulling them out, we worked together to keep them right where they belong.

...That’s the goal. Not just rescue—better outcomes. Keeping families together, keeping owls on the farm, and making the situation actually make sense for everyone.

Really grateful for CGC and for Wild at Heart Raptors for always being part of the bigger picture.

It rained for five minutes and we picked up two electrocuted birds the next day at two separate nesting locations and we didn't find the nests/babies at either location. As we expand on the power grid, it's important that we do so responsibly, and that means taking care of our old lines ...as well. In my experience, The lines only get fixed when the birds get reported... but it has to get reported properly. Wildlife, getting shocked on power poles causes expensive damage to electrical equipment, home electronics, and when animals are shocked... they can also start brushfires. Small plastic guards that insulate the equipment save a lot of time money and Wildlife. These are simple fixes that can be done through simple reporting tools that can be found on our website and LinkedIn our bio. This bird unfortunately did not survive. Ok I'm putting my gardening skills out there. I don't use any bug spray. I very rarely use herbicide and I beat the crap out of my plants some days.... but that's the beauty of planing native vegetation... or just letting it do its a own thing like this volunteer brittlebush.
