Our Unique Approach to Poison Free Pest Control

Our services come at a higher price compared to traditional pest control. Here’s why...

We are deeply committed to servicing all customers with a focus on creating poison-free pest management solutions that enhance the beauty of your properties and contribute to wildlife conservation efforts.

We are Rodent Specialists

Our target pest is pack rats, roof rats, and pocket gophers. We don't blanket poison and we don't use insect sprays. We encourage clients to consider alternatives like wildlife-friendly lighting solutions, better home sealing, and installation of nest boxes. See our suggestions on this page.

We believe preventative insect sprays, especially without habitat changes, draw more pests to the property and hurt the non-target species that eat the poisoned insects and make problems worse.

We use Low-Toxicity Methods

Some of our methods—like using birth control and snap traps for rodent pests— are significantly less toxic and help increase owl and songbird populations that naturally eat the pests.

These methods require more frequent applications initially and will be more costly but costs should decrease over time as the predators like songbirds and owls increase and the rodent birth control starts taking effect.

We use Humane Trapping Methods

While snap traps may seem brutal, they are quick and effective. They are a good poison-free alternative to be used alongside birth control methods. Snap traps still require regular maintenance such as resetting and carcass removal.

We try to stage snap traps only when activity is noticed to avoid harming non-target species like antelope squirrels and quail that also show interest in tunnel traps if used as a preventative instead of acutely.

We use Effective Fumigation Methods

This is the most effective method for pocket gophers but it is a class 6 restricted use chemical requiring additional licensing, insurance, and equipment.

Fumigation services are typically provided once a month for residential properties, and more frequently for agricultural and commercial properties.

Fumigation kills within 15 minutes and leaves no residual chemical residue after 24 hours.
